Brides, on their big day, usually get exhausted and perplexed with all the wedding festivities and preparations. Moreover, they sometimes get so exhausted that some of them really faint from dehydration. In a hurry, they forget to take care of their body and pay more heed to their looks and wedding gowns. This creates chaos and disturbance on their day of enjoyment and the start of their new life.
Kelly and Ryan Moynihan, a couple who founded the company Flasky Flowers, have the right solution for the brides. Their product, which initially looks like a flower bouquet for the bride to carry on the wedding stage, is, in fact, a flask to carry the bride’s favorite drink, i.e., a flask to carry flowers. This not only keeps them hydrated but also gives them a chance to sip the drink without the fear of ruining their pictures. Moreover, it can be used by both bride and groom and carries 12 ounces of a drink at a time.
The owners of the Flasky Flower Company are on Shark Tank, and they are offering 10% equity for $50K. They even presented their product samples in different flower types, both natural and artificial, to impress the judges and to approve the request from them. Let’s see if they got the deal or not.
Flasky Flowers Net Worth 2024 Shark Tank update
Kelly and Ryan Moynihan were looking for an investment of $50k in exchange for 10% equity in their company, Flasky Flowers. At the time of the episode, they valued their company at $500k. They successfully secured a deal with Kevin O’Leary, Mark Cuban, and Lori Greiner for an investment of $75k for 30% equity in the company. The investment adjusted the company’s net worth to around $250k. After the show was aired, the company experienced a moderate boost in exposure. As per my rough estimate, the current net worth of Flasky Flowers in 2024 is around $450k.

Moynihan’s Backstory
Kelly was a hairdresser by profession. During her work she came upon several brides who were trying to drink with a flower in their hand. This struck her with an idea, and to test the practicality of the product, she made a prototype by using her child’s formula bottle with a flask attached to its head. This shaped the flask with the top part reserved for the flowers. She then immediately started working on it which resulted in selling her house and leaving behind the job. Her husband also approved the product and helped her in raising their seven kids which became possible with him leaving his job as well.
Initial Pitch
Moynihan came on Shark Tank with samples of their products with different types of flowers for every judge on the set. They requested for $50K for 10% equity stack. According to the owners the flask is designed in such a way that the drink is not in contact with the flowers making it a completely clean product. Moreover, they are able to make $21K from the company. The product is sold for $20 and it costs them $1.77 to make. This highly impressed the judges.
Queries about the Product
After answering Kevin and Mark about their sales and costs to make, Kelly then answered Lori in the affirmative by saying that their whole product is made in the USA.
Barbara asked about the medium for the selling of the product. Kelly highlighted that their product is sold in an online mode.
Lori again asked regarding the source of their investment in the company. Kelly then answered that they sold their house and also additionally invested $60K. They also quit their jobs to make their company grow and to look after their seven kids.
Lori after showing concern asked regarding their income for life sustenance. Kelly replied that she still does her hair. She also highlighted the problems she faced with the covid and her 7th baby going through heart surgery. They lived through hard times and are still not giving up. They believe in the possibility of their dream, and so invest all they have.
Finally, Mark asked regarding the amount of inventory they have currently, to which Kelly replied that they are on 1500.
Shark’s Response and Final Decision
Lori was the first judge to appreciate their resilience, and for that, she pitched the first deal of the product. She asked for 20% equity on $50K.
Kevin then jumped in with another judge Mark Cuban and even take in Lori for 10% equity for each for $25K investment by every one of the three judges. They even tried to persuade the couple by pointing out that they are getting three judges at a time with Kevin being already familiar with the wedding market.
Barbara dropped out politely by highlighting that they didn’t need any other deal with the three judges on one side.
Finally, after getting so many offers, the owners got the combined deal of the three judges for 30% equity on $75K.
Product’s Availability
They are still currently functioning through their own website and on Etsy. Although they have a lot of 5 stars reviews but their sales are not that high. They have approximately 500 sales on Etsy and they also have increased their product rates from $20 to $25 excluding the flower. You can find them on their website.
Conclusion
The company, although it faced several issues it is still functioning. It is owned by a couple having seven children, which is impressive in its own but this company made a presence on the show by getting a deal from three combined judges. The company’s progress is not that large but it is still striving for growth. We can hope for the company’s future ahead.

This realization became apparent while watching Shark Tank. Although I started watching this show out of boredom, it proved to be an inspirational show. The show made me realize the importance of hard work, being independent, and of having a business of my own. I still look forward to it for entertaining and inspirational content.
